Most people don’t ask “Does God exist?” But, they do want to know if Christianity or the Church has any application to their lives. They want to know if it’s possible to discover a “religion that works,” that can provide meaning and actually be used in life. Well, there is probably no book in the entire Bible that answers that question better than the book of James. This small book towards the back of the Bible is said to be the most practical book in all of Scripture. It had been called "Wisdom that Works," and it is referred to as the "blue Jean" book of the Bible. The real plus in this book, is James not only tackles the problems of life but gives answers. Here in these pages is a Godly prescription that will help us have better relationships, healthier lifestyles, stronger souls and be a strong witness.  Join us on Sunday Morning at 11AM for a topical study in the Book of James.

The world is full of bad news.  Some of our older population will say, and rightfully so, that the news is as bad as it has ever been.  But, whenever I hear something like that I always go back to Solomon and how he said, “There is nothing new under the sun.”  I suppose that we define ‘bad’ in relative terms and usually it is relative to time.  However, the 'Good News' far outweighs the bad.  There is meaning to life and hope of life after death. The Apostle Paul says in Romans 1:1 that the good news is the gospel, which is the good news of God.  Join us on Sunday Mornings at 10:55AM for an incredible study in the Book of Romans.

Life is tough.  Living the Christian life is even tougher.  Whoever said that living the Christian life, much less life itself, is easy hasn't experienced the life of the average person.  Negotiating the roads in life can be difficult and that is why God gave us a road map of sorts found in His Holy Word.  Join us at 7PM on Wednesday evenings as we study the Psalms and learn how to 'Negotiate the Roads in Life'.
